Rachel is a Nurse Practitioner at Athens Pulmonary with active privileges at Piedmont Athens Regional, St. Mary's Hospital, and Landmark Hospital. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. After graduation, she worked in Athens Regional's Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit as a critical care nurse. During that time, she attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham to pursue a Master's Degree in Nursing. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner studies. Rachel joined Athens Pulmonary in October 2017 and focuses her practice on general pulmonary disorders and sleep medicine. Her current affiliations include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society.
