Meagan Scruggs

Meagan is a UGA alum with an undergraduate degree in psychology, Meagan received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Athens Technical College in 2013. She went on to complete her Bachelors Degree in Nursing at Columbus State University in 2016. She received her Masters Degree in Nursing with a focus in adult gerontology acute care from Walden University in 2020. She has worked as a registered nurse at St. Marys and Piedmont Athens Regional in the intensive care units since 2013. She joined the Athens Pulmonary team in 2021 as an acute care nurse practitioner. She is associated with the American Association of Critical Care Nurses and has maintained her critical care nursing certification. Outside of work, Meagan enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children.
