John Carey

John received his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from The Medical College of Georgia 2000 and received a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner Studies from the Medical College of Georgia in 2004. After working in the emergency department for a number of years, John joined Athens Pulmonary in 2005. John helps coordinate the Chest Clinic which is a multidisciplinary team approach to expediting the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. He is affiliated with the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the American College of Chest Physicians and Sigma Theta Tau (Honor Society of Nursing.)
