Joe Rizner

Joe graduated nursing school with his BSN from Augusta University in 2016 after completing pre-nursing coursework at the University of Georgia. He moved to Athens and took his first job in the Emergency Department at Athens Regional where he worked for 7 years. Joe graduated from Augusta University with his Doctorate in Acute Care Nursing Practice and started working with Athens Pulmonary in 2022. When he is not working, he enjoys cooking, reading, spending time with his wife, children and church community, and fly-fishing when he gets the chance.
