Dr. Kennedy completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia before earning his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He went on to complete his Internal Medicine residency, as well as fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at the University of Florida.

With a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-centered care, Dr. Kennedy brings experience across both outpatient and intensive care settings. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, and board-eligible in Critical Care Medicine. He holds hospital privileges at Piedmont Athens Regional, St Mary’s Hospital and Landmark Hospital in Athens.
