Nehal Bhatt, MD


Dr. Bhatt joined Athens Pulmonary in 2008 after completing a Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his Medical school at Ross University School of Medicine and then his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Illinois, Advocate Christ Hospital. He has been a leader in Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) in Athens. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He is a member of the American Thoracic Society (ATS), the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and American College of Chest Physicians (ACCP). He has active privileges at Athens Regional Medical Center, Saint Mary’s Hospital, and Landmark Hospital in Athens. He treats all general Pulmonary disorders, including Sleep, with special interest in Pulmonary Hypertension, Bronchoscopy, and critical-care medicine.  He currently sees his patients in Athens and Lavonia.
